ABOUT
L.B. Hazelthorn is an editor, artist, and author of strange fictions.
Born in a northern cane town and home-schooled in the far south by fanatical doomsdayers, they spent the first few chapters of their future memoir learning Latin and becoming way too interested in medieval guilds. After emerging into the twenty-first century they travelled Australia’s east coast for a decade, living in boats, tents, and various forms of artistic penury.
L.B. Hazelthorn’s short works and poetry are published and forthcoming in various corners of the universe, such as Aniko Press Magazine, The Brew, and Aurealis. Current projects include a visual novel, in collaboration with their illustrator and partner, and the ongoing historical fantasy series Hangfire. They’re currently an associate editor at The Suburban Review, and a solo parent to four children.
Contrary to earlier suspicions, the world doesn’t appear to be ending yet.
